NSO survey finds big rural-urban divide in computer, internet use

The survey on ‘Household Social Consumption: Education’ conducted by the NSO showed that in rural areas, among persons of 5 years and above, 9.9% were able to operate a computer and in urban areas, for the same group, 32.4% were able to operate a computer during the last 30 days before the survey period.
