Tax amnesty scheme: Taxman's pay hikes, postings to be linked with mop-ups under Vivad se Vishwas

Under the scheme, a taxpayer who pays the disputed tax before March 31, 2020 will get complete waiver of interest and penalty. The scheme would remain open from March 1 to June 30, 2020, and those who avail of it after March 31 would have to pay some additional amount.
