Piyush Goyal asks India Inc to hold panchayats in rural areas on farm bills benefits, bills to benefit 100 mn farmers

Stating that the government has almost doubled procurement under minimum support price (MSP) which is “wrongly sought to be portrayed as being in danger”, the minister said that Rs 1.45 lakh crore are being invested in the farm sector and the agriculture budget has been increased nearly six times.
