E-way bills in October may surpass Sept levels on festive season supplies

The stronger trend is set to lead to higher goods and service tax collections for October, experts added. GST collections for September stood at 1.17 lakh crore, higher than Rs 1.12 lakh crore recorded in August and Rs 1.16 lakh crore recorded in July this year.
