The state also ranked second in the state-wise performance rankings of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), with a score of 85.2, behind Haryana, which had a score of 88.8. In the current financial year, UP has paid out more than ₹46,700 crore via DBT under various schemes, saving an estimated ₹69 lakh, according to government data.
